GLW Feeds Ltd Expands Operations with Acquisition of Martley Animal Feed Mill
GLW Feeds Ltd is pleased to announce the purchase of an established animal feed mill at Martley, Worcestershire, from Estate Country Animal Feeds. This strategic acquisition marks an important milestone in our continued growth and commitment to serving the agricultural community, particularly in the West Midlands, Southwest and Wales.
Both GLW Feeds Limited and Estate Country Feeds Limited are family businesses which are focused on the manufacture of quality feeds and committed to delivering first class service to their customers. The existing experienced team at the Martley mill will remain in place to run the site, headed up by Richard Soloducha.
The addition of the Martley mill represents our third manufacturing facility and offers GLW Feeds a significant opportunity for both expansion and enhanced service delivery. By bringing this site into the GLW Feeds family, we are not only increasing production capacity but also improving our ability to efficiently supply and support our existing customer base in the surrounding area.
As part of this development, we will be offering our full range of high-quality ruminant feeds from the new site. This includes both bulk and bagged products from our established ruminant product list, ensuring farmers have access to the trusted GLW Feeds nutrition solutions they rely on.
In addition, the Martley location will support customer collection of bagged feeds directly from the warehouse for both ruminants and mono-gastric animals. We will also stock products from our Performance Product Range, which features calf milk powders, our Topmin minerals, and a wide selection of rumen health products tailored to meet the specific needs of dairy, beef, and sheep livestock.
This acquisition not only strengthens our operational footprint but also reinforces our long-term commitment to the agricultural industry. By situating ourselves closer to farmers in Worcestershire, Midlands, the South West, and into Wales, we can reduce delivery times and offer more responsive support and advice to livestock producers in the region.
