How can we help?

Our partial TMR range is aimed to complement forage by feeding compound in the parlour. Our compounds are seasonally available in a range of protein levels which include 14%, 16%, 18%, 21% and 24% in both starch and digestible fibre options. All our diets are specially formulated to specification and only include high-quality raw materials.

Using our modern rationing program we can provide a custom-made blend to complement the forages available on your farm and can quickly respond to any changes to the needs of the diet. With our bespoke Protected Protein Sources and formulating to amino acid requirements, we aim to specifically target improving protein efficiencies. We also offer a mineral auditing service to make sure you are meeting the nutritional needs of each cow.

GLW Transition Cow Range

GLW Pre-Calver is specially designed and formulated to give the correct balance of protein, energy and minerals. It will assist in a smooth transition from the dry period to early lactation.

Using GLW Pre-Calver can positively influence milk production, milk quality, fertility, mastitis and retained cleansings. It can also reduce metabolic disorders and diseases such as ketosis/fatty liver syndrome and milk fever.

Correct feed management of the dairy cow through late lactation, the early dry period and transition period is critical to early lactation performance.

Pearl Dairy Compounds

GLW Pearl Dairy Compounds are formulated to provide ultra high energy together with a generous supply of bypass protein. Pearl ensures a good balance of starch, sugars and digestible
fibre and is typically fed to herds achieving up to 12,000 litres. The Pearl range is seasonally available at protein levels of 16%, 18%, 21% and 24%.

• A high density true 13.7 ME dairy compound.
• Particularly suited to grass silage systems, or where maize/wholecrop silage provides up to 50% of the forage dry matter.
• Ideal as a parlour feed or fed through out of parlour feeding systems.
• Pearl is suitable where high yields are targeted.
• Suitable for traditional silage and compound only system.

Ruby Dairy Compounds

GLW Ruby Dairy Compounds are high density and starch-rich, supplying a generous provision of bypass protein required by high yielding cows. Ruby is typically fed to herds achieving up to 10,000 litres. The Ruby range is seasonally available at protein levels of 16%, 18%, 21% and 24%.

• A high-density, true 13 ME dairy compound.
• Particularly suited to grass silage systems, or where limited levels of maize silage are available.
• High levels of starch and sugars.
• Ideal as both a parlour feed or through out of parlour feeding systems

Emerald Dairy Compounds

GLW Emerald Dairy Compounds are high density, controlled starch compounds which also supply the by-pass protein required by high yielding cows. Emerald is typically fed to herds achieving up to 10,000 litres. The Emerald range is seasonally available at protein levels of 16%, 18%, 21% and 24%.

• A high density, true 13 ME dairy compound.
• Suitable for use with a combination of grass, maize and whole crop silages.
• Can be used if there is a high acid loading from grass silage.
• Safe to feed at high levels in the parlour or through out of parlour feeding systems.

Diamond Dairy Compounds

GLW Diamond Dairy Compounds are formulated to provide high energy together with a generous supply of bypass protein, ensuring a good balance of starch, sugars and digestible fibre. Diamond is typically fed to herds achieving up to 8,000 litres. The Diamond range is seasonally available at protein levels of 16%, 18% and 21%.
